park cottage, pavenham
Park Cottage is a non-listed 17TH century historical structure located within the Pavenham Conservation Area. It forms part of a series of buildings that line the primary vehicle route through the village.
The cottage will be modified to improve circulation, functionality and extended bringing a dilapidated house into the 21st Century. The extension will provide much needed additional ground floor living accommodation with a main family room and a master bedroom to the first floor. The new main entrance, integrated into the extension, opens out into a traditional hall area and a new vertical circulation stairwell that will be central to the property.
The use of traditional materials intentionally results in a cohesive and consistent appearance between the original cottage and the new extension.
