Chris Brown, ACIAT architectural technician
Chris Brown is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Technologists with over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. Chris has wealth of experience gained from working on a variety of large scale and demanding projects within various sectors, notably Education, Government and MOD-based projects.
Prior to joining mk40 architects in 2011, Chris was a Project Technician at Archial Architects in Cambridge for 13 years. At Archial Architects Chris supported in the technical design stage several multi-million pound projects. Most notable of which was the Junior Rates Galley & Dining Hall at HMS Collingwood, which was opened by HRH Princess Royal .
Chris has experience of projects from inception through to completion on large complicated schemes. This would include coordinating the input from other consultants, leading the technical design process and attending the project on site during the construction stage.
He is currently working on several projects in the office including the lead on a large domestic extension in Bedford and several projects at Whipsnade Zoo. Chris also was the lead technical designer for the Bedford Modern School Training Centre project.
