chapel lane, willington
The rear section of this derelict Edwardian building was removed and a new 2 storey rendered section with a contemporary black timber clad family room built at the rear.
The existing Edwardian section of the building has been totally refurbished with new stonework and refurbished fire places. The new 2 storey extension at the rear is designed to compliment and contrast with the brick on the original Edwardian house. The extension contains a further 2 bedrooms, one with a walk in wardrobe and ensuite, plus a large family bathroom.
On the ground floor the new extension consists of an open plan kitchen, dining, family room. The timber clad section of the family room has a cantilevered glass corner window which connects visually and physically with the garden and patio area.
